Q:Is This camera a Battery wireless camera ?
A:No, it is not a battery wireless camera ,it need to plug-in to the power outlet always for use.Wireless means It can connect to your wifi router wirelessly,no need network cables.
Q:Why I Choose this wifi camera instead of a battery 100% wireless camera?
A: Battery wireless camera need to be charged and only support clip-recording. This WiFi cameras support both 24/7 recording and clip recording.
Q:What can I do if the Power cable is too short?
A:We offer 16.5ft/33ft long extension cable for the camera,Search asin “B09XBQM6SF”(16.5ft) or “B09XBP4YHG”(33ft) on Amazon.
Please do not add extension cords longer than 33ft between camera and power adapter,it may suffer voltage reduction which would cause device malfunction in 3-6 months. Do Not use extension cables from other brand.
Q:How does the spotlight work?
A:The spotlight can be set to triggered by motion detection(Intelligent Mode) or alway on(Color Mode).You can select “Ordinary Mode” with IR night vision if you do not want the spotlight on.In Live view page app, Tap “Night Vision Mode” icon, you can see “Ordinary”, “Color” and “Intelligent”.
Q:How to set default watch point for tracking and unplanned power outage?
A:Enable the Intelligent tracking,then manually control the camera to wanted watch point,the camera will save it as default watch point automatically.**(You can also setup Preset#1 as the home position only for power restored)
